Learn to make Cut & Sew hats with the Second class in our “Let’s Make” series “‘Let’s Make” A Cut & Sew Cloché Students will learn : Pattern manipulation (patterns provided) Choosing The “Right” fabrics Controlling fabrics through modification Steps for assembly Tips for lining and finishing your Cut & Sew Hats Supplies: craft paper paper and fabric scissors fashion fabric lining fabric pencils, markers 18″ x 2″ clear ruler tape measure flat surface to work on millinery block or head form (styofoam is ok) push pins or T-pins scotch tape in a weighted dispenser optional: grosgrain , or pertersham ribbon to finish the head fitting lightweight interfacing (instructor prefers fusible tricot) 2 Saturday sessions – December 4 & 11 12 pm -3 pm EST in Zoom $150 for six hours of instruction limit 10 students in this class (Must download Zoom on your computer in advance of the class time. A camera to participate is good, but if you prefer to have the camera off that is fine too.) a Zoom link and a pattern download will be sent to your email upon registration.
